Lee Public Schools invites sealed bids for school bus transportation services for Lee and Tyringham Public Schools for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2027. Bid documents are available beginning November 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., on the Lee Public Schools website under Departments - Business Office, through COMMBUYS, or at the District Office, 300A Greylock Street, Lee, MA 01238.

The contractor furnishes scheduled transportation for all designated school children of the Lee and Tyringham Public Schools, including transportation equipment, maintenance of equipment, operation, supervision, inspection, registration, licensing, insurance and conformance to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Motor Vehicles, Department of Public Utilities and the Lee/Tyringham School Committee(s). The current contract utilizes a fleet of four buses and two minibuses, one of which is equipped with a wheelchair lift, excluding late buses. The contractor must also provide transportation for athletic events, field trips, late runs, and mid-day special needs transportation, and must guarantee a 10 percent reserve fleet (spare vehicles), including vans, housed at the terminal at no cost to the School District.
