Meter Exchange Services
The contractor will staff and execute the exchange of approximately 19,000 existing Landis + Gyr Focus meters for new Landis + Gyr Revelo meters within PMLP's service territory. The work includes meter changeouts, location geocoding, meter resale and/or recycling and disposal, new meter inventory management, exchanged meter inventory management, and call center services for customer scheduling and questions about the Meter Exchange. The contractor must also handle post-deployment processing of exchanged meters, including a proposal to resell removed meters on the secondary market, and manage customer interface for appointments and inquiries. The deployment area is limited to Phases 1 through 4 shown in the Deployment_Area_Map.pdf, and the contractor must capture GPS coordinates and other meter information. The contractor will also be responsible for hazardous materials processing of leaded glass meter covers, batteries, and electronic waste.
