Working with DCR personnel, the contractor conducts annual inspection and routine maintenance and testing for crest gate, stop log systems, slide gates and appurtenant equipment originally provided by Rodney Hunt Company, including hydraulic cylinders, power unit, accumulator, electrical controls, sampling and testing of hydraulic fluid, filter replacement, exercising the system, repairing or replacing nonfunctioning parts, managing and replenishing the on-site spare parts inventory, obtaining permits when necessary, and submitting an annual report with findings and short-term, intermediate and long-term maintenance and repair recommendations.
