The project consists of upgrading the Riverdale Pump Station from 30 MGD to 45 MGD, including demolition and modifications to existing facilities; installation of new pumps, piping, odor control, generator, and electrical building; electrical, instrumentation, and SCADA improvements; and associated utility and site work. Work includes temporary bypass pumping to maintain continuous wastewater service during construction, startup, testing, and commissioning.

A pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Administrative Building located at the Eastside Wastewater Treatment Plant at 5898 Riverdale Drive, Jamestown, NC 27282. City staff will be available to discuss the project and answer pertinent questions. All prospective bidders are urged and cautioned to attend so as to prepare bids based upon a full understanding of project specifications.
