The work consists of providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and plant to construct the Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion to 1.5 MGD for the Wilbarger Creek Municipal Utility District No. 2 in Travis County, Texas. The work includes rehabilitation, improvements, expansion, and construction at the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP).
The work includes, but is not limited to: demolition and replacement of Lift Station pumps to increase the firm pumping capacity of the lift stations to 2,083 gpm peak two hour flow; installation of a new mechanical screen and washer compactor at the headworks; expansion of the existing peak shaving basin with course bubble aeration; addition of peak shaving pump; construction of Rapid Mix Basin No. 2 with RAS Airlifts; construction of Aeration Basin No. 3 with fine bubble aeration; construction of Clarifier Loading Basin No. 3; construction of Clarifier No. 3 with RAS, WAS, Scum, and Loading Basins; expansion of the Tertiary Filtration system; demolition and replacement of the existing Parshall Flume; Chemical Feed expansion; construction of a Dewatering Facility and press feed pump station; site, grading, drainage, pavement and detention/water quality improvements; and all associated piping, valves, fittings, protective coatings, power, instrumentation, controls, and programming.
