DoIT - Department of Innovation and TechnologyIssuing agency·Springfield, IL·via the Illinois BidBuy open-bids boardThe Department of Information Technology (DoIT) intends to purchase Fiber-Based Point to Point Metro-Ethernet Transport Service to provide wide area network (WAN) (e.g. last mile) connectivity between an agency location and an Illinois Century Network (ICN) Point of Presence (POP) site. Please see attachment titled RFQ Supplemental Information for additional information.
The vendor must provide Metro Ethernet services with speeds between 100MB and 1GB, delivered via Fiber, with point-to-point transport between State offices and ICN POPs. The service must offer 99.98% availability, synchronous bandwidth, ≤18 ms one-way delay, ≤12 ms jitter, and 24/7/365 operation. The vendor must provision high-bandwidth Ethernet connections, maintain QoS tagging, monitor and maintain connections, allow DoIT monitoring via ICMP and SNMP, work on VLAN assignments, aggregate multiple VLANs, perform bandwidth upgrades within 30 business days, and deliver service to the DoIT demarcation location. The vendor is responsible for delivering service inside the building to the designated telecom room at both A and Z end locations, terminating on a vendor-provided switch. The vendor must notify DoIT upon installation completion, and DoIT will test and accept the service before invoicing.
