The lessee will operate a pasture/grazing lease on 425.20 acres across four fields (9659/19, 9668/23, 9668/21, 9668/33) for the term 2027-2031. The lessee must provide all labor, machinery, tools, seed, fertilizer, equipment and insurance. Stocking rates are specified per field (75 animal units on field 9668/23, 35 on 9668/21, 20 on 9668/33 and 9659/19). Grazing dates are May 1 through October 15. The lessee must maintain fences and gates, apply maintenance fertilizer per University of Illinois Agronomy handbook, and comply with prohibitions on neonicotinoid-treated soybean seed and Dicamba. The lessee must guarantee lease payment annually by prepaying the full rent or providing an irrevocable letter of credit, and must pay all leasehold taxes. The lessee must submit a Certificate of Liability Insurance, equipment list, and various logs and records annually.
