The lessee will provide all necessary labor, machinery, tools, seed, fertilizer, equipment and insurance to perform farming operations on designated fields at Jim Edgar Panther Creek SFWA, following a specified cropping plan for 2027-2032 that includes corn, soybeans, wheat, cover crops, and idle acres. The lessee must comply with conservation practices, soil testing, chemical application restrictions (no neonicotinoids, no Dicamba), and record-keeping requirements. The lessee may also perform acceptable services in lieu of cash payments, such as chemical application, clearing, construction, and mowing, with prior agency approval.
