ISTHA is seeking a vendor to provide Snowplow Truck Training Simulators with software maintenance and support as outlined in the attached IFB. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be emailed to the Information Contact no later than 2:30pm on 10/14/26.
The awarded vendor must furnish and deliver two 24-foot mobile training center trailers, each with an installed Snowplow Truck Training Simulator, ready for training use. The simulators must replicate operation of a snowplow-equipped dump truck including dump body, front plow, wing plow, and tow plow, with specified hardware (three-channel visual system, force feedback steering, real truck seat, automatic transmission) and software (interactive driving simulator, skills assessment, adaptive learning, training scenario library, reporting). The vendor must provide a three-day on-site Train-the-Trainer session for approximately 35 Tollway staff, five years of software maintenance and support delivered electronically, 480 hours of project management implementation services, and four operation manuals. Delivery is to the Tollway's Central Shop in Downers Grove, Illinois, within one year of contract start, with advance notice required before delivery.
