The project replaces Bridge No. 07721 (196.00') on Highway 25 in Independence County over a 0.434-mile section. Work includes clearing and grubbing, removal and disposal of existing fence, gates, driveways, pipe culverts, guardrail and the existing bridge structure, unclassified excavation, compacted embankment, soil stabilization, aggregate base course, tack coat, ACHM binder and surface courses, cold milling of asphalt pavement, approach slabs and gutters, concrete driveway, guardrail and terminals, erosion control measures (silt fence, seeding, mulch, matting), pavement markings, rumble stripes, and bridge structural items including reinforcing steel, prestressed concrete beams, steel piling, elastomeric bearings, and riprap, along with mobilization, maintenance of traffic, and a field office.
