The Alaska Court System is seeking bids for a new snow removal contract at the Palmer Courthouse, located at 435 S. Denali Street, Palmer, AK 99645. This will be a three (3) year contract commencing October 15, 2026 with two (2), one (1)-year renewal options.
A mandatory pre-bid inspection will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Please meet in the main lobby of the Palmer Courthouse.
Bids are due Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 12:00 PM.

The contractor shall provide all snowplowing, snow removal and sanding services at the Palmer Courthouse, including snowplowing, stacking and removal from parking lots and driveways, sidewalk snow removal, lot sanding, deicing, and call-out services. The contractor must automatically plow and remove snow upon a significant snowfall (2 inches or greater in a 24-hour period), and ensure all lots, driveways, sidewalks and entryways are cleared and sanded or ice-free by 7:30am. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and dumpsite fees, including a rubber tired front-end loader, end dump trucks, a full-sized four-wheel drive pickup with snow plow, a sander, a bobcat, snow blower, hand shovels, and ice chipper/scraper. The contractor must be physically located in the Palmer area to respond to local weather conditions in a timely manner.
