Atlanta Housing is issuing a Request for Proposals to select a developer to redevelop three vacant blocks (Englewood South Phase Two) on approximately eight acres of the former Englewood Manor public housing site in the Chosewood Park neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia, to create mixed-use, mixed-income affordable housing.
The selected developer will be responsible for the planning, design, entitlement, financing, construction, and operation of mixed-use, mixed-income residential buildings on three shovel-ready pads (D, G, I) totaling approximately 7.98 acres. The development should include both senior and family mixed-use buildings, incorporate sustainable design (including solar-ready provisions), achieve LEED Gold or comparable certification, and include community and stakeholder engagement. The developer must prepare a Community Engagement Plan, a development schedule, and financial proposals, and will enter into a Master Development Agreement with Atlanta Housing.

Most Georgia work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what an agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
