The United States Air Force – 18th Contracting Squadron, Kadena AB Japan (Okinawa) intends to award a Single Award, Requirements type Contract for DCDO Grounds for Defense Communications Detachment Okinawa (DCDO) in Okinawa, Japan. This requirement will be for full and open competition. The period of performance for this contract will be 1 Nov 2026 – 31 Oct 2031.

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform grounds maintenance services at DCDO. Services include grass cutting (developed areas 12 times/year, undeveloped and gravel areas 4 times/year), grass raking/clean-up, edging (12 times/year), trimming (4 times/year), bush pruning (4 times/year), and manual weed control (4 times/year). Grass shall be mowed to a height of not less than 3 inches and not more than 4 inches. The contractor must comply with security, safety, environmental, and Japanese road laws, and provide a Quality Control Plan.
