GROUNDS MAINTENANCE FOR FIRE RESCUE LOCATIONS, TERM CONTRACT
The scope of work includes mowing, trimming, edging and weeding of all landscaped areas (turf, flower beds, shrub beds, ground cover beds), pest control/herbicide treatment, fertilization, mulching, blowing sidewalks and roads, and removal of litter and landscape debris such as fallen palm fronds. The successful bidder must furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, fuel, and services to maintain County property to a superior level. Work is divided into four non-federal lots (North, Central, South, West County) and one federal lot, with service intervals of 39 cuts per 12-month period (every 7 days May–October, every 14 days November–April). Additional tasks include pruning, tree trimming, weeding, fence line maintenance, raking mulch, emergency services, hurricane/storm cleanup, and mulching on an as-needed basis.
