This solicitation notice is to inform potential offerors that Bath, NY VA Medical Center will be posting a solicitation (36C24227B0004) on or about October 28, 2026, for Replace Flooring RM140 B76. All work is to be performed at the Bath, NY VA Medical Center.
General scope of work includes:
The general scope of this project is to the replace the existing flooring in Building 76, Rooms 140 and 140A, based on the design documents provided. Additionally, the project encompasses electrical modifications to support the X-ray equipment, including extending power conduits and cables, installing new power switches, providing equipment structural support, and other related work as indicated in the design drawings.
As Building 76 operates as a fully functional medical center, work hours may be restricted, and off-hours work may be necessary to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations, as directed by the Contracting Officer s Representative (COR). The contractor shall complete all work within 60 days of receiving the Notice to Proceed.
The Bath VAMC requires a Contractor to perform the construction work necessary to accomplish this goal. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, services, tools, equipment, and materials required to perform work. Work under this effort is fully described in the project drawings and specifications. Additional administrative and management related requirements are described throughout this document. A brief overview of the construction work will be included with SOW in the solicitation.
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to demolish and remove existing vinyl flooring and install new fully welded seam vinyl sheet flooring with a 6-inch integral cove base and transition strips. The contractor shall also perform electrical work including relocating the existing electrical feed, installing a new enclosed circuit breaker, and all power cables and conduits necessary to connect the new X-ray machine's control box. Additionally, the contractor shall provide structural support components for the new X-ray equipment, including floor, ceiling, and wall anchoring. The work is to be performed at the Bath, NY VA Medical Center, Building 76, Rooms 140 and 140A, and must be completed within 60 days of receiving the Notice to Proceed.
