The work requires regular collection and emptying of multiple waste and recycling containers located throughout the Richmond VAMC campus, including a 42 CY compacted general waste Sanipak unit, a 35 CY government-owned compactor, dumpsters at the Utility Plant, Buildings 507 and 513, Lot 15, and recyclable metal and mixed recyclable/wood containers. The contractor must also provide rental of multiple dumpsters, dispose of waste with associated tipping fees (estimated 1,800 tons per period), and submit monthly reports on recyclable proceeds. Services run on a recurring weekly or biweekly schedule including legal holidays, across a base period and three one-year option periods extending from a TBD start date through September 30, 2030.
