The contractor shall provide solid waste removal services at the Salem VA Medical Center, including leasing and servicing waste containers (30-yard, 20-yard, 8-yard, 40-yard, 2-yard bins and compactors) at various building locations. Services include delivery, pick-up, steam-cleaning of containers, providing weight tickets, monthly spreadsheets, and quarterly waste-generation reports. The contractor must assign an onsite representative to conduct initial and quarterly site waste assessments. The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local regulations and maintain containers in a clean and sanitary condition.
