DESCRIPTION: The project will consist of constructing approximately 16,414 feet of four wire fence in the vicinity of the 2023 Low Line Fire, Gunnison County, Colorado. The purpose and need are to replace existing fences damaged by the 2023 Low Line Fire with a friendly wildlife fence and provide removal of old and damaged fence materials. See the SOW, SOI, SPECS and Diagram for more details.
There is a Site Visit scheduled for this project for November 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.Mountain Time. Additional details regarding the Site Visit are located in this solicitation.
Provide labor and materials to rehabilitate range fences including mobilization, removal and disposal of all existing damaged fence materials, clearing a right-of-way up to 10 feet wide, and installation of approximately 16,414 feet of four-wire wildlife-friendly fence with steel pipe posts and braces, steel T-posts, wooden stays, specified wire heights, gates, water gaps and anchoring per the SOW, specifications and diagrams.
