Exclusive Use Helicopter Flight Services, Mesa Ver

The contractor must provide one light turbine helicopter (Type III) for exclusive use by the U.S. Wildland Fire Service for 120 calendar days per year (May 15–September 12) based at Ft. Lewis Helibase, Hesperus, CO. Services include a pilot-in-command, relief pilot, mechanic, relief mechanic, fuel service vehicle driver, and relief driver. Missions include short-haul, search and rescue, STEP landings, fire suppression, fire monitoring, initial attack, prescribed fire, aerial ignition, law enforcement (non-threatening surveillance/reconnaissance), and administrative/resource activities. The contractor must supply all fuel (wet rate in Lower 48), a fuel servicing vehicle meeting detailed specifications, and all required avionics, safety, and mission equipment. The contract has a five-year ordering period (03/01/2027–02/29/2032) with a maximum ceiling of $8,000,000 and a minimum guarantee of 120 days of daily availability for the base year.
