This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2026-01.
Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO 10) has a requirement for: Smoke and Fire Damper Inspections buildings 302, 310, 320, 330, 340, 350 and 410 at the Dayton VA Medical Center.
This RFQ is set-aside for SDVOSB vendors who are certified at SAM.gov.
All vendors shall be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.
The Associated North American Industrial Classification System code for this procurement is 541350, Building Inspection Services, with a small business size standard of $11.5 Million.
The Produce Service Code for this procurement is H312, Inspection – Fire Control Equipment.
The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, labor, equipment, materials, and disposal necessary to inspect smoke and fire dampers on HVAC systems in buildings 302, 310, 320, 330, 340, 350 and 410 at the Dayton VA Medical Center. Inspection includes removal and inspection of fusible links, manual operation of dampers to ensure proper performance, and replacement of links as needed. The contractor shall supply replacement links as needed and provide a detailed inspection report to the DVAMC HVAC shop. There are approximately 160 smoke dampers, 103 combination dampers and 347 fire dampers. All work will be inspected by VA personnel before acceptance.
