NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE AND SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS code for this project is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors and the small business size standard is $19 million.

DURATION: The contract performance period is expected to be 90 calendar days from notice to proceed; the period of performance is negotiable.
SITE VISIT: An organized site visit has not been scheduled. For firms interested in attending a site visit, must submit name to Mike_Fiasco@nps.gov.
The work includes performing maintenance to the water tank and bringing it up to code, NFPA 22 2023, Standard for Water Tanks for Private Fire Protection. Specific tasks include cleaning the interior of the tank, installing a passive cathodic protection system in the interior of the tank, providing lightning protection per NFPA 780, cleaning and lubricating the liquid level indicator, cleaning dirt and debris from the foundation, and performing required tests to ensure the water tank is functional and compliant with NFPA 22. The contractor must also provide a safety plan, comply with all applicable prevailing codes including the International Building Code, and work within the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
