Reverse Osmosis / Deionization System Modification procurement for the Minneapolis VA Health Care System.

The VA anticipates one Firm Fixed Price award to provide services to the Minneapolis Health Care System, 1 Veterans Dr., Minneapolis, MN 55417
The period of performance is 09/25/2026 to 12/31/2026.

Quotes are due to the Contracting Office by 12:00pm Central time on 09/17/2026. Quotes are required to be emailed to cameron.rick@va.gov prior to the solicitation closing date and time. It is the responsibility of the offeror to ensure their quote is received in its entirety by the Contracting Officer before the solicitation closing.
The contractor shall separate the SPS DI main critical water loop from the DI Loop, replace the SPS side of the DI main branch piping with 2" Schedule 80 PVC, tie the new SPS DI main loop to the RO supply and return lines, reconnect DI sink branch lines, add 12 ST108 compliant flushing and testing ports to the RO critical water loop, install a new UV sterilizer (Culligan CUVR5-555 or equivalent) and a multi-cartridge filter housing, isolate unused DI water lines to sinks in rooms BB-137 and BD-112, sanitize the RO and DI loops after installation, install four AAMI ST108-compliant steam sampling ports on the four steam sterilizers, replace the existing RO low pressure switch, replace six existing RO membranes (4x40 inches), and replace the existing 20" 5-micron RO prefilter. The contractor must coordinate with the COR for system shutdowns, submit daily logs and submittals, and comply with all VA, ST108, and manufacturer requirements.
