The contractor will develop a Great Earthquakes Social Science Research Plan and Implementation (Task A) to devise and address social science questions related to scenarios for great earthquakes, including an update of the M7.8 ShakeOut scenario and Cascadia Subduction Zone scenarios. Under Task B, the contractor will develop communications and stakeholder engagement strategies, update the ShakeAlert Messaging Toolkit (fact sheets, case studies, graphics, manuals, web content, templates), support ShakeAlert presence at conferences and events, and provide ongoing subject matter expertise for stakeholder engagement with Technical Partners. Deliverables include a Project Management Plan, weekly check-in calls, monthly written status reports, and a project close-out meeting. The period of performance is DOA to one year after, with all deliverables due by 08/31/2027.
