The contractor shall provide all technical support, materials, tools, equipment, and manpower to deliver bulk crushed clam shell to specified sites. The clam shells must be crushed and rolled to reduce edges, with whole shells not exceeding 25% of the delivered material; scallops, cockle shells, whelks, and cone shells may be included but not more than 10% of total volume; oyster shells are prohibited. Deliveries include a base bid of 1,200 cubic yards to Buxton (Cape Point Campground storage site), Option 1 of 210 cubic yards to Ocracoke (Bitterswash Parking Lot), and Option 2 of 780 cubic yards to Cape Point Campground Storage Site. The contractor must call the NPS point of contact on the day of delivery for exact location, coordinate ferry routes to Ocracoke, provide receipts for each load, and keep delivery records for payment.
