Pump Out Liquid Anhydrous Ammonia Tank, with OEM Valves
The successful quoter shall pump out approximately 1,100 lbs (+/-) of liquid anhydrous ammonia from a 1,000-gallon tank (Serial #N19222) into DOT-approved vendor-owned containers, remove any solids/sludge/debris, and supply and install OEM replacement valves and parts including a three-way dual shutoff valve, hydrostatic relief valve, vapor relief valves, nipple, and bushings. The contractor must provide equipment and manpower, own waste containers, manifest and label all waste, dispose of waste material, test the tank for leaks, and ensure all vapor and liquid blow offs are guaranteed for five years per manufacturer and industry standard. The work is performed at Palm Beach County Water Utilities Treatment Plant #8, 1500 Jog Road N, West Palm Beach, FL 33415.
