Stabilize Kingsley Plantation Shoreline with Seawall Extension
The work consists of selective demolition, installation of a new weatherable rigid vinyl sheet pile wall with tie rods and a weatherable rigid vinyl deadman wall in front of the existing PVC sheet pile wall, and installation of a new structural FRP composite sheet pile wall for extension towards the east. Other civil work includes excavation, soil and gravel backfilling, sodding, spartina sea grass restoration, and installation of limestone riprap in front of the wall. The project will be constructed in three sequential phases: Phase 1 (west end), Phase 2 (east end), and Phase 3 (east extension).
