Fencing restricts who can enter which areas on the finish line and provides a barrier from unauthorized vehicles from entering the race courses.
The contractor provides 4,500 linear feet of fence panels (approx. 4'x10') and 4,500 ft of hard barricades, delivers them to Hangar C at CCSFS on the Friday before the event, and stands up the fence in full by 1600 for government inspection. Teardown begins around 0800 on race day, with fencing removed from the course by 1200 and finish line teardown complete by 1500. The contractor supplies all labor, tools, vehicles and heavy equipment, and submits an execution plan.
