corrections/revisions were made to Solicitation 36C24827Q0025 through Amendment 0001. Subsequent Solicitation
Amendment will be issued to answer remaining questions received prior to close date for Vendor questions.
Amendment 0002 will be issued no later than 10-14-2026. Reference Solicitation 36C24827Q0025 with highlighted corrections in lieu of the original Solicitation posted on 10-06-2026.

The contractor shall provide rental equipment including nine categories: Hospital Surgical Beds with CLRT, Foam, Trapeze, and Trapeze+Foam configurations; ICU-Grade Hospital Bed Systems; Air-Fluidized Therapy Beds with and without Trapeze; Low-Air-Loss Pressure-Redistributing Therapy Surfaces; and Bariatric Recliners with integrated low-air-loss surfaces. All equipment must meet manufacturer specifications and salient characteristics for safety, compatibility, and patient handling standards. The contractor is responsible for delivery on request (24/7/365 within 24 hours), installation, calibration per manufacturers' recommendations, maintenance, repairs, replacement of defective units within 24 hours, decontamination before delivery, operator training, and removal of all installation debris. Equipment must comply with NFPA-99 healthcare facility electrical standards, FDA requirements, and VA safe patient handling protocols. The contractor shall provide on-site response within 24 hours for inoperable systems and shall submit service reports within 48 hours of repair completion. All beds must be labeled with weight limits and IEC 60601-2-38 specifications; all must meet FDA entrapment guidelines for seven zones. The contract includes a base year (December 1, 2026 – November 30, 2027) and four one-year option periods, with pricing based on daily rental rates (DY) for estimated rental days per asset category.
