Sidewalk Replacement Throughout Lyons Campus

The contractor shall provide all materials and labor to replace approximately 12,180 square feet of cracked or damaged concrete sidewalks at locations including Bldg 143 and Bldg 57 (approx 3600 SF), Bldg 53 & 54 (approx 2700 SF), 1st Circle including Bldgs 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 (approx 2880 SF), and Knollcroft Road (approx 3000 SF). Work includes removing existing concrete using demo saw, jack hammers and concrete breakers; removing debris; installing 2x6 premium grade lumber forms; using 3/4 inch gravel fill at 4 inches deep; installing #6 wire mesh reinforcement; pouring 4000 PSI concrete at 5 inches thick; installing 20 ADA warning pads (wet set, 2x4, red); curing concrete overnight; backfilling with top soil and grass seed; and removing dumpster and safety fencing. The contractor must also install security fencing around the construction site, provide daily progress reports and pictures to the Contracting Officer's Representative, and provide all submittals for material no later than 10 days from receiving the notice to proceed.
