The contractor shall provide a functional, reliable entry and exit solution to allow authorized facility personnel and vehicles to safely enter and exit the Station. The solution may include remote transmitters, proximity cards, vehicle detection loops, or other automated means, provided that all proposed mechanisms are fully compliant with the 3-year design life, NEMA 4X, and zero ground disturbance requirements.

Questions are due to the contracting officer and contract specialist by 11 September 2026. Questions submitted after this date may not be answered prior to the closing of this solicitation.
The contractor shall provide and install a functional, automated entry and exit solution for authorized facility personnel and vehicles at USCG Station Bodega Bay. The solution must include a commercial-grade automatic operator with manual override, a weatherproof keypad (NEMA 4X/IP66), and safety compliance with UL 325 and ASTM F2200. The gate must be at least 6 feet high, clear a 20-foot driveway, use a high-porosity picket design, and sit entirely on existing concrete/asphalt using above-ground ballast or counterweight systems—no ground disturbance is permitted. The contractor shall remove and dispose of the existing manual farm gate, conduct a pre-construction site survey, provide submittals (technical concept, equipment specs, bill of materials, safety plan, and execution schedule) within 10 calendar days of award, perform full operational testing, provide 1 hour of training, and furnish a 1-year warranty on materials and workmanship. Work hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, excluding federal holidays.
