This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared In Accordance With (IAW) FAR Overhaul Subpart 12.2 “Solicitation, Evaluation and Award”, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested.
The purpose of this requirement is to provide semi-annual on-site calibration and repair visits for the Hazardous Gas Detection System at Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) for in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW).
Set Aside: This will be a 100% Total Small Business set-aside. NAICS Code for this announcement is 811310 with a small business size standard of $12,500,000.00. Quotes only from small business concerns will be accepted. Quotes received from concerns that are not small businesses shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected.

Conformance to SOW: You must provide the supplies in accordance with the RFQ/SOW. Unless an exception is specifically noted within your quote, you quote will be considered to be in complete conformance to the solicited requirements.
Basis for Selection: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Cost of Quotes: Expenses incurred in the preparation of quotes in response to this RFQ are the vendor’s sole responsibility and not reimbursable by the Government.
The contractor shall perform semi-annual on-site calibration and repair visits for the Hazardous Gas Detection System (part number SC04943, serial number ERAB-0061, asset# 65923082472) located in BLDG 4225. The system consists of a Draeger Quadgard controller and remote gas sensors. The contractor is responsible for all labor and travel expenses. Visits shall be performed during April and October between 6:30 am and 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The work includes repairing, testing, inspecting, and calibrating the equipment to meet manufacturer's performance specifications. All components must be replaced with genuine OEM parts. HF gas sensors must be replaced annually. The contractor must provide all necessary equipment and calibration gases, but cannot leave gases at the facility. The contractor must provide a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for each gas used. The equipment to be calibrated includes 19 individual gas sensors, 4 Quadgard control panels, and 1 HF retransmission loop, all located in Shop 93201 within Building 4225.
