Oregon’s Department of Environmental Quality requires a sewage disposal service business to file a $15,000 bond for an installer or installer/pumper license under ORS 454.695. Ours is $450 flat — 3% of the bond amount, with no credit check.

The DEQ onsite license is waiting on this bond. Here's the entire process:
Business details and an effective date. That's the application — no financials, no credit check section.
The $15,000 sewage disposal bond typically issues right after purchase. At most, 1–2 business days.
DEQ wants the original sealed and signed bond — we mail it to the DEQ Onsite program with your licensing paperwork, and email your executed copy.
$15,000 bond × 3% = $450, one-time per term. Fixed amount, fixed price, multi-year if you want it.
Oregon requires a business that installs or pumps on-site sewage disposal systems (septic systems) to be licensed by the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), under ORS 454.695 and the onsite rules in OAR Chapter 340. The license is conditioned on a surety bond.
The penal sum is $15,000 for each installer or installer/pumper license, and $5,000 for a pumper-only license. The bond stands behind your compliance with the on-site sewage disposal standards — if you violate them and DEQ or a harmed party suffers a loss, they can recover against the bond.
DEQ wants the original sealed and signed bond on file, issued to the exact business name you registered with the Secretary of State. We issue the $15,000 installer/pumper bond at a flat 3% with no credit check; if you hold a pumper-only license, tell us and we’ll write the $5,000 version instead.
These are the actual issuing fields — no credit check section, because this bond doesn't have one.
