Oklahoma requires every armed security guard and armed private investigator to file a $10,000 bond with the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET). Ours is $300 flat — 3% of the bond amount, the same for everyone.

License bonds are the simplest thing in surety. Here's the entire process:
Your details and an effective date. That's the application — no financials, no credit check section.
License bonds like this are among the thousands of bond types that issue right after purchase. At most, 1–2 business days.
Your executed bond arrives by email, ready to file with your CLEET armed license application or renewal. Wet-ink original mailed on request.
$10,000 bond × 3% = $300, one-time per term. Fixed amount, fixed price, multi-year if you want it.
Oklahoma's Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) licenses security guards and private investigators under the Oklahoma Security Guard and Private Investigator Act (59 O.S. §1750.1 et seq.). When a license is armed — guard, investigator, or a combination — the holder must file a $10,000 surety bond.
The bond is conditioned on the licensee conducting business faithfully and honestly as the law requires, protecting members of the public harmed by misconduct by an armed guard or investigator. Unarmed licensees do not carry this bond — it attaches specifically to the armed authority to carry a firearm on duty.
It is not insurance for you — if the surety pays a claim, you repay the surety. The bond carries a 10-day cancellation notice to CLEET. We track it and notify you 60 and 30 days before expiration so your armed license never lapses.
These are the actual issuing fields — no credit check section, because this bond doesn't have one.
