What the liquor license bond actually guarantees
Crystal Lake conditions every retail liquor license on a $1,000 surety bond payable to the City of Crystal Lake, filed with the City Clerk under City Code § 329-7. The bond guarantees that the licensee — and any employee, agent, or other person under the licensee's control — complies with the City's ordinances and resolutions governing the sale of alcoholic liquor and the general good government of the City, in force at approval or adopted during the license term.
