The Town of Jupiter may require reasonable surety or a bond as a condition of a special event or temporary use permit, to cover expenses the Town incurs as a direct result of the event. The body that approves your permit decides case by case. The premium is 0.5% of your bond amount, $100 minimum.

Most one-day event bonds price and issue instantly — enter your amount, apply, and you have the executed bond:
Your business details, the bond amount the Town set, and the event date — that is the entire application.
Your price is set by the bond amount: 0.5% of it, $100 minimum.
Submit the executed bond to the Town of Jupiter Department of Planning and Zoning for your special event permit. Wet-ink originals mailed on request.
Jupiter has no separate one-day permit: a one-day event or temporary sale runs under a special permit (Class A-1, A, B, C or D), unless it is on Town property. Under Code §27-370(b)(8), the body that approves it may require reasonable surety or a bond to meet any expenses the Town of Jupiter incurs as a direct result of the permitted use. That body is the town manager or a designee for Classes A-1, A and C, the planning and zoning commission for Class B, and the town council for Class D.
It's a three-party arrangement: you (the principal), the surety carrier, and the Town of Jupiter (the obligee, the party the bond protects). If the Town incurs expenses as a direct result of your event, it can recover them against the bond.
The Code sets no figure, only that the surety be reasonable, so you enter the amount in your permit conditions. The Town may also take a cash escrow instead of a surety bond: its application asks who receives the bond escrow. The premium is 0.5% of that amount, $100 minimum — priced by the amount, not a credit tier.
Submit the application with the bond amount the Town set — your price is set at the same time, ready to file.
