STEA - DEMOLISH COMBINATION CAR #2609 & DISPOSE #4

The contractor shall demolish and dispose of the #2069 Boston and Maine wooden combination car and the #4331 Boston and Maine wooden caboose. Work includes removing clerestory windows intact, removing steel fixtures for COR review, breaking down the wooden cars, placing debris into contractor-provided dumpsters, removing all debris and residual fragments from the work area, transporting dumpsters for treatment and disposal, and providing final signed disposal documentation. The contractor must also obtain and maintain railroad protective liability insurance if required, prepare and test material samples as required, and comply with all applicable regulations for hazardous materials including asbestos, lead-based paint, and treated wood.
