Location of Work: The services will be performed at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNSY) -Kittery, ME.
Period of Performance: The period of performance is from February 8, 2027, to July 7, 2027.
This is a solicitation for quotes, and the Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order. Please be advised that the submission of a quote does not constitute a legally binding contract.
Submission Instructions:
All interested offerors must review the complete Request for Quote (RFQ) attached to this notice. To be considered for award, offerors must complete and return the RFQ, along with any additional supporting documents, in accordance with the submission instructions outlined under FAR 52.212-1, "Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Products and Commercial Services," contained within the RFQ.
The contractor shall clean and sanitize three sanitary tanks aboard a U.S. nuclear-powered fast attack submarine in dry dock. Work includes pumping tank contents to an external storage tank, pressure washing and hand cleaning to SSPC-SP 1 standard, sanitization with sodium hypochlorite, bacteriological testing for E. COLI or ENTEROCOCCI, and removal of anodes if present. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and materials, and submit a Technical Work Document for approval. The contractor is also responsible for confined space atmospheric testing, waste disposal, and spill response.
