Norfolk Naval Shipyard Command (NNSY) (Unit Identification Code – UIC N42158) is a Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) field activity organizationally aligned under the Logistics, Maintenance and Industrial Operations Directorate, NAVSEA 04. NNSY’s core mission is to; safely repair U.S. Naval Warships to technical standards, on time, and at cost. NNSY provides the following services to the U.S. Navy:
(I.) Logistic support for assigned ships and service craft,
(II.) Performs authorized work in connection with construction, conversion, overhaul, repair, alteration, dry docking, and outfitting of ships and craft, as assigned,
(III.) Performs manufacturing, research, development, and test work assigned, and
(IV.) Provides services and material to other activities and units, as directed by competent authority.
NNSY Code 400, Contracts Department, supports the NNSY mission by providing acquisition support to procure and administer industry services and supply support to bridge the gap between NNSY’s organic capacity/capability and the required capacity/capability to meet NNSY’s mission requirements. To support, the solicitation is for the cleaning of three sanitation tank cleanings.
The contractor must clean three sanitation tanks in two rounds: Round 1 from October 26, 2026 to December 18, 2026, and Round 2 from April 5, 2027 to May 14, 2027. The pricing arrangement is firm fixed price.
