The contractor shall provide upgrades to the steam condensate system, including removal of existing steam-driven condensate pumps and piping, and installation of new electrically driven condensate pumps, piping, insulation, and vents. The project also includes upgrades to Electrical Vault 1 and Electrical Vault 6, involving removal of existing transformers and switchboards, and installation of new outdoor transformers, switchboards, feeders, conduits, and associated equipment. The work requires temporary power, coordination with USDA, and must be performed while the facility remains occupied and operational.
