The contractor shall manufacture nickel aluminum bronze (NAB) device piece parts in multiple configurations (Regular and Large) for the VIRGINIA Class propulsor program. Work includes machining piece parts per drawings PR15007, PR15008, PR15006, PR15018, PR15019, PR15020, PR15023, and PR15024; performing non-recurring engineering (NRE) such as CNC programming and tooling procurement; participating in a virtual kickoff meeting within 15 days of award; conducting lot acceptance inspections (dimensional, visual, material certificates); cleaning parts with acetone; packaging per drawings; and submitting CDRLs including Lot Acceptance Inspection Results Report, Certificate of Conformance, Monthly Status Report, Government Furnished Property Inventory Report, and Request for Variance. The Government provides raw material (NAB rod stock and tungsten bar) except for R4 shim rings (mild steel). Delivery locations include NSWCCD in Bethesda, MD and Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME.
