THE U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS (USACE) NEW ORLEANS DISTRICT ISSUES THIS INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF FORESHORE RISK REDUCTION REPAIRS. THE RESULTING CONTRACT SHALL BE FIRM FIXED PRICE (FFP). THIS SOLICITATION IS ISSUED AS UNRESTRICTED. THE NAICS CODE FOR THIS PROCUREMENT IS 237990.
THE MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION IS BETWEEN $25,000,000 AND $100,000,000.
THE WORK CONSISTS OF CONSTRUCTION ACCESS TO THE WORK SITE, DEMOLITION, CLEARING AND GRUBBING, EXCAVATION AND PLACING EMBANKMENT, PLACING GEOTEXTILE, PLACING STONE, TURF ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE.
IN ACCORDANCE WITH RFO 22.502-2(d), AN EXCEPTION HAS BEEN GRANTED FOR THE USE OF A PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT AS REQUIRED UNDER RFO 22.502-1. THEREFORE, A PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT IS NOT REQUIRED FOR THIS ACQUISITION.
