Notice to Quoter(s)/Suppliers: Funds are not presently available for this requirement. The Government reserves the right to cancel this RFQ, either before or after the closing date. Any costs incurred in the response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and not charged to the Government for reimbursement. In the event this RFQ is cancelled, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an Offeror with any costs associated with preparing and providing a quote.
The contractor shall supply, deliver, assemble, and safely anchor the Sheetmaster 100 Roll-Out Shelf Storage System (manufactured by Rack Engineering Division) in the color blue at the designated facility. Tasks include a pre-installation site survey, delivery and offloading (contractor responsible for rigging/forklifts), professional assembly and structural anchoring to the concrete floor slab, testing and acceptance (dry-run test demonstrating 100% shelf extension and automatic locking mechanisms), and clean-up of all crating, pallets, and debris. The system must meet or exceed specifications: 5,500 lbs. uniformly distributed load per shelf, 100% full extension on 4 heavy-duty roller bearings, 84" overall height, 3 to 8 shelves per unit, all-welded steel construction with powder-coated finish, and automatic locking system. Work is performed at 555 A Street East, Bldg. 171, JBSA-Randolph, TX, during hours 0700-1500 Central Time, Monday through Friday except Federal holidays.
