The Food Quality Laboratory seeks to procure a freeze dryer with accessories for mission critical research involving sensory and food quality analysis. The equipment must have technology that automatically detects the end of the drying cycle, integrated freezing and drying, temperature-controlled electrically heated shelves, front-loading design with interchangeable shelf configurations, a minimum of 5 shelf stack with stainless steel trays, capacity of 8 L, cooling capacity of at least -49°F, sublimation rate of minimum 4L/day, power capacity of 120/240(VAC), 50/60 (Hz), and a minimum 1-year warranty. Delivery is required 60 days after receipt of award, F.O.B. destination to 10300 Baltimore Ave., Bldg. 010A, Beltsville, MD 20705.
