F-22 FEC/EED

The contractor shall manufacture and deliver 76 each of three variants of aircraft fire extinguisher cartridges (NSN 1377-01-505-5212ES, 1377-01-505-5213ES, 1377-01-505-5214ES) and 100 cartridge initiators (NSN 1377-01-488-1068ES) within 18 months. Each line item requires origin inspection and acceptance, higher-level contract quality requirements per ISO 9001:2015, and physical item markings with serial numbers per CAD/PAD Item Marking Instructions version 1.6. The contractor must develop and submit an approved Lot Acceptance Test Plan at least 90 days prior to testing, perform lot acceptance testing per approved procedures, and submit test/inspection reports and ammunition data cards (ADC) via WARP system. All items are hazardous explosives (Hazard Class 1.4S, UN 0323) requiring hazard classification documentation, packaging per MIL-STD 2073-1 specifications, and proper DOT/UN marking. Energetic materials shall not exceed 24 months old and must be traceable to original DoD-qualified manufacturers. The contractor must maintain ISO 9001:2015 quality program, ensure radiographic inspection by certified Level II/III radiographers, manage critical characteristics and critical safety items per government oversight, implement configuration management, submit failure analysis reports if testing failures occur, and coordinate with DCMA Quality Assurance Representative for random sample selection and government witnessing of production lot testing.
