USNS SACAGAWEA (T-AKE 2) VRA KR

The contractor shall prepare for and accomplish work items as specified in Military Sealift Command specification MSCOK 27-001, including provision of management, procurement, production, testing, quality assurance, technical capability and resources necessary to prepare for and accomplish repairs and alterations within the availability time period. Work includes planning and scheduling to ensure timely procurement of contractor-furnished material and receipt, storage, and installation of government-furnished and contractor-furnished material/property; application of progress measurement systems; establishment of management procedures to identify behind-schedule conditions; development of performance milestone schedule and critical path chart; application of approved quality control procedures; configuration control procedures; staging and storing of long lead time material; compliance with security requirements; and provision of contract change order pricing proposals within specified timeframes. Specific work items encompass mooring deck preservation, exterior light bracket replacement, weather drain repairs, ABS special surveys, bridge wing door repairs, cargo crane preservation, propulsion control safety inspections, ECDIS modifications, electronic equipment calibration, integrated bridge equipment service, gyro system preventive maintenance, VDR and radio communication recertification, lifeboat and rescue boat inspections, life raft certification, fire protection system inspections and tests, HVAC compressor overhaul, hauling winch brake band and cooling fan refurbishment, and replenishing pump motor refurbishment.
