This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number FA500026Q0048 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) for NAF PAX buses.
This acquisition is a set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.
(ii) Three (3) 14-PAX buses capable of carrying 14 passengers. One (1) 44-PAX bus capable of carrying 44 passengers. The buses must also meet any and all Federal, state, and local safety regulations governing the use of passenger transportation. The buses must be equipped with automatic transmissions, air breaks, and an Alaska winterization package.

The contractor shall deliver three (3) brand-new, current model year 14-passenger commercial buses and one (1) brand-new, current model year 44-passenger conventional-style commercial bus suitable for transporting youth safely in cold-weather conditions at JBER. The 14-PAX buses must accommodate a minimum of fourteen ambulatory passengers plus one driver, be CDL-exempt, and include a Ford E450 Shuttle Bus Package (or equivalent) with a 7.3L gasoline V8 engine, Torqshift 6-speed automatic transmission, dual rear wheels, and an Alaska winterization package. The 44-PAX bus must accommodate a minimum of forty-four youth passengers, be a conventional style (Type C) school/commercial bus with a heavy-duty 7.3L gasoline V8 engine, 6-speed automatic transmission, air brake system, and an advanced Alaska State package including three 50,000 BTU heaters. Both bus types must include retractable three-point seat belts for all passenger positions, back-up camera, back-up alarm, electronic stability control, and meet all Federal, state, and local safety regulations. Delivery is FOB Destination to 800 1st Street, Door 19, JBER, AK 99505 by 18 December 2026.
