360-DAY DRY CARGO TIME CHARTER

The chartered vessel must transport a minimum of 40,000 square feet of rolling stock and general cargo, moor alongside piers and quay walls, and conduct cargo operations using organic equipment, with loading, unloading and securing of government property primarily coordinated by the vessel owner with assistance from Sponsor personnel. The vessel must accommodate draft restrictions with a maximum laden draft not exceeding 6.0 meters, operate up to 21 days without resupply, achieve at least 10 knots while loaded, and have a transit range of at least 5,000 nautical miles. RORO vessels must have slewing, quarter or side ramp(s) sized to the cargo list and capable of deployment to piers, improved structures and a floating barge; LOLO vessels must have cranes rated to load and off-load all equipment on the Cargo List. The contractor provides lashing gear, dunnage, shifting boards, and spreader bars, procures fuel on a reimbursement basis, and provides meals and stateroom-style berthing for a minimum of two Sponsor personnel. Delivery and redelivery are at Naha, Okinawa, JA or a designated anchorage in the vicinity, for a charter period of about 360 days.
