The contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, materials, equipment, and supervision to perform the removal and replacement of roof 3D, PT Roof, Roof 10, and Roof 11 at the Wilmington VA Healthcare System. Work includes demolition and removal of all roofing material and insulation to expose the decking, disposal of materials per construction waste management, prep of steel decking and brick walls, installation of new tapered insulation and 60 Mil Elevate RubberGard EPDM or equivalent roofing membrane, repair of roof drains to original interior diameter, installation of new pipe collars and flashing, and ensuring roofs slope to drain with no puddled water. Metal decking inspection and replacement in deteriorated areas is included, with written COR authorization required. The contractor must also provide a daily log and pictures, and all parts involved with the roof's weather-tight integrity shall be warrantied for a minimum of 20 years.
