Department of DefenseIssuing agency·Usaf Academy, CO·via the SAM.gov Get Opportunities APIThe 10th Contracting Squadron at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) intends to award one firm-fixed-price contract to a contractor who represents the best value to the Government for Ambulance Services in accordance with (IAW) the Performance Work Statement (PWS) at Attachment 1 – USAFA Ambulance Services PWS – 8 Oct 2026. See the attached FA700027Q0002 Combined Synopsis Solicitation Ambulance Services for specific instructions. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared IAW the format in the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
All responsible SDVOSB concerns may submit a quote, which if received timely, may be considered. The Government reserves the right to cancel this RFQ, either before or after the closing date. The Government bears no legal liability for the costs associated with preparing a quote.
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, management, equipment, ambulances, medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, tools, transportation, communications equipment, training, and other items necessary to perform Ground Ambulance Services at USAFA. Services include emergency response, patient assessment, treatment, stabilization, transportation, standby event support, airfield emergency response, and participation in exercises. The Contractor shall furnish two dedicated ambulances for 24/7 coverage, one dedicated airfield ambulance during active airfield hours, and provide standby ambulance coverage for athletic and special events (approximately 1,000 hours per year, with up to four additional ambulances as needed). Performance areas include the USAFA installation, the I-25 corridor between mile markers 150-157, and patient transport to Evans Army Community Hospital and Colorado Springs hospitals.
