2024; Homeland Security Acquisition Manual (HSAM) 2026-04 effective 30 June 2026; Coast Guard Acquisition
Procedures (CGAP) 2026-01 effective 25 March 2026.
The contractor shall provide a facility accessible from a navigable waterway with minimum water depth of 11 feet and minimum height clearance of 35 feet. Work includes 99 work items such as hull plating side scan ultrasonic testing, underwater body preservation, hull plating renewal, propulsion shafting removal/inspection/reinstallation, rudder assembly removal/inspection/reinstallation, tank cleaning and preservation, drydocking of both tender and barge, sea trials support, and various other repairs including door replacements, piping renewal, and lead-based paint and asbestos spot abatement. The contractor must provide all necessary fire prevention, temporary services, and quality assurance inspections.
